tapping my fingers.

I have been eagerly [ read: impatiently ] awaiting the debut collection from Harvey Faircloth since I caught wind of it earlier this year.  The Fall 2009 collection will be available at select retailers any moment now.

Harvey Faircloth is the collaborative project of three friends -- Katie Hatch designs the clothes [ perhaps you've admired her handiwork here or here ], Mara Papa handles sales, and Abby Clawson Low directs the brand identity. The ladies cite such diverse influences as Native American beading, Claire McCardell, and "the strange and unexpected glamour of men wearing aprons."  

Well, if you ask me, Harvey is shaping up to be a very likable fellow indeed.
