Did you see last week's cover of The New York Times Magazine? It featured a miniature sculpture by brooklyn-based artist Thomas Doyle.  I am so pleased that they commissioned a 3D model, rather than rendering the image digitally.  I love tiny things!  I don't have a copy of the issue, but I intend to borrow [read: steal] one from a friend.

Thomas Doyle will be participating in the anniversary show at Mixed Greens Gallery which opens on July 9th.

Also at Mixed Greens [through July 3rd] is an installation by my friend Brian Jobe.  This piece is from his Tuft vs. Turf series.  Just walk down 26th street in Chelsea and you'll see the fire escape festooned with yellow zip-ties.  It's like urban lichen!
