Vampire Weekend.

Coinciding with the opening weekend of a certain highly-anticipated teen fantasy film sequel, WhatsWear published a menswear story that Jamie Beck and I collaborated on, with help from Virginia Bradley Linzee. Brian Wood let me pull some amazing pieces from his Fall line. This shoot was all about the details for me.  I love the patent leather trim on Brian Wood's wool blazer, the tattered, lacy scarf ( actually an antique table runner -- thank you, Bethany ), and the vintage velvet ribbon ( thank you, Allison ).  I wouldn't say our shoot was strictly vampire-themed, but the Edwardian references and London ( er, Upper West Side ) rooftop setting certainly make it thematically compatible with that genre.
